 What is SmartWater?

SmartWater is the ultimate theft deterrent which uses state-of-the-art forensic technology to protect homes and businesses from criminal victimisation. Each SmartWater system contains a unique DNA-style forensic code which is simply dabbed into the nooks and crannies of your valuables. Each SmartWater code is stored on a secure database together with the owner’s details making them uniquely identifiable. SmartWater can also be deployed through a hidden spray system which is used to forensically tag intruders.

Once dry, SmartWater is virtually impossible to remove and any traces will glow under ultra-violet light. SmartWater irrefutably links criminals to the crime scene and property back to its owner. Traceability is something criminals hate, so they will avoid it at all costs. When used by UK police forces as part of their crime prevention initiatives, SmartWater has achieved reductions in burglary of up to 84%.SmartWater is an Official Police Accredited Organisation. More than just a product; SmartWater is a proven crime deterrent strategy. Criminals know about SmartWater and they hate it! SmartWater is used by 95% of UK police forces and maintains a perfect 100% conviction rate wherever it has been used as evidence in a court of law. In short, SmartWater works

The Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team have recently been successful in securing their second round of funding from The Lancashire Partnership against Crime for their Smartwater Solutions 2 initiative.

The Police and Communities Together Panel for the area have discussed and set a list of eligibility criteria for the next phase.

If you do feel that you do not fit the above criteria but you would like further information about how to purchase smartwater please view http://www.smartwater.com/Home.aspx
