Coffee Etc. was opened on 13th June 2011 after a local business man very kindly donated a refurbishment of the Pear Tree Cafe. The cafe was totally revamped with a new management team, and new equipment, there is now a state-of-the-art bean to cup coffee machine and orange squeezer, for the best fresh coffee and orange juice possible.

Coffee Etc. is ran by 3rd-Way which is a Community Interest Company (CIC) this means that the directors do not profit from the business. All of the profits from Coffee Etc. goes to Parbold Youth Group and other charities.

The building that Coffee Etc. is in is also home to Parbold Youth Group who do not have to pay for the use of the space where they meet. Parbold Youth Group meet at Coffee Etc. most Fridays and also go on trips out with money from grants and the profits from Coffee Etc.
