We are delighted to have a representative from the Youth Club and Community Interest Company on the Police and Communities Together (PACT) Panel
Please see the SMART WATER Link (LHS) for the latest initiative from Lancashire Constabulary Thank you
To Empower Young People to improve their Communities through Entrepreneurship and Partnerships
"....Young people making a difference for young people and their Communities...."
Please see "Our Aims" for the concept and practical delivery.
Simple - young people create the facilities that they will then use.
"Don't touch that wall - I built it"
Young people help create and take ownership of the facilities, sharing the real day to day responsibilities.... leaders, trustees, directors and managers are created from those who have come up "through the ranks" and earned respect.
As a result, they are able to then help others to do the same.
It is not something being "done" for "them" as many youth projects are ....
To Provide:
Using:
Self Sustaining & Replicable elsewhere To be self sustaining, to help others and to replicate the model in other communities.

The Refurbishment was funded and organised by very generous local businessman. It has been a massive undertaking and has transformed the Pear Tree into "Coffee Etc."

RiJo 42 have also loaned us a Zumex Orange Squeezer, a Smoothie maker, a hot Chocolate machine and have donated coffee, chocolate, oranges, smoothies, crockery... the list is endless...
